Bye summer, I hate you anyway

This summer might just be the worst summer I have yet to have had. It's been painful, and like walking through syrup. But, now it's September, autumn. And hopefully it'll just go up from here. I'll just cross out the summer months from my memory forever, haha.

My only plan for this autumn is FUN. Having fun, doing fun things, feeling good.

First thing I did was to sign up for.... adult ballet classes!
Yeah!! I've gone to two lessons so far, and it's so so so fun and so so so rewarding. Going from a couchpotato to a ballet class, doing them pliés and twirls and whatnot really does a number on you. My muscles are sore for a week, and when they've just stopped hurting, BOOM, another class. But it's awesome.

I truly truly recommend anyone who reads this and have thought that maybe maybe ballet would be fun, DO IT. You're not too old, you're not too weak/fat/whatever! It's so rewarding!

In other awesome news, my friend exclaimed yesterday that it was time to go to Paris, and I couldn't agree more. So we're going on October 1st, for a few days of heavy smoking and coffee drinking. We won't be caring about the tourist things, so if you have any tips of some nice café with some good coffee, please advice! And my friend wants to eat a lot of food, so if you have any good restaurant tips, please share those too!

The summer might have been shitty but I'm not going to let autumn turn out the same way!

Fika at Madam Blå

A couple of times when we've gone on day trips to places like Disney or Aquariums, we've transfered at Tokyo station. Almost everytime we walk past this little café called "Madam Blå", but we never had time to find out what it really was, and why it had a swedish-sounding name.

When we went to Disney last week, for once we had time to go get some coffee there!
Turned out it was a Danish/Scandinavian café, with some classic Scandinavian meals!
We didn't have time to actually eat there, but saw in the menu that they had crisp bread, different scandinavian salmon dishes etc. And the coffee they used was Swedish!
On the pricey side though, so I guess I'll resist swedish food until I go back.

Scandinavian kitchen vibes.

Yet another wifi hunt

So alas, today again we went out in search for a wifi café. This time we had luck! Sakura café in West Ikebukuro doesn't only have super cheap coffee, but they also have a pavement café with a smoking area, it's connected to a hotel(Sakura hotel, I've heard it's good for its pricerange).

Anyway, todays outfit!
Decided to do my best impression of The Leaning Tower of Pisa today.
Everything but the cardigan(g.u) and the boots(random) are from Shimamura, haha.

The Mighty Decider app by The Mighty Boosh, probably the biggest selling point for getting an iPhone/iPad.

Gonna try and get better at posting outfit pictures(and learning to pose), and also figuring out what size to have the pictures in... Oh well, please bear with me until I get a hang of posing/resizing pictures!

Coffee and Wifi

My roomie bought an iPad yesterday, and since we don't have a wireless router we went to a coffeeshop in the neighbour hood to mooch free wifi.
After seeing an iPad in all it's shiny glory I really want one myself! But I'd have a hard time to justify it to myself, maybe if I traveled more..

The outfit for the occassion

Spent the time taking pictures while the roomie pillaged the app store.

Coffee and Cigarettes

Few things beats a late night Fika (Definition: Fika is both a Swedish verb and noun that roughly means "to drink coffee," usually accompanied by something sweet.) with a good friend.
And hey, I drink my coffee black nowadays!

Oh and the movie I stole the title from is recommended to watch.

Study Power!!

One of the things I've been the most angry at myself over, is the fact that I never study.
I never take the time. During this year, I've spent about 10 minutes all togheter, studying outside of school. (How I got this far is a complete mystery)

But! Today, me and Malin went to Doutor to study kanji, for an hour!
And when we got home, we kept studying for three hours more!
So all in all, I studied kanji for 4 hours and my hand hurts so bad, haha.

Pics or it didn't happen.

I'm so proud overmyself for this, and actually got adrenaline rushes from it, hahaha.

Super!

Soo.
I've decided that this month, my attendance will be 100% at school!
Go me! So I'll have some "room" for october when I'll start morning classes, haha.

Anyway, today after school I met up with Malin and we looked around Baba a bit,
went to Shimamura. It's a really good store, and everyone should visit it!
They are basically an outlet store, and carries a lot of cheap things. Bags for 1000yen, shoes for 2000yen, etc. Most things are 1000-2000yen! And it's nice looking things, so no crap!
I'm gonna go back there to buy a pair of boots I saw, and maybe a backpack.

However, my only shopping was a green/black checkered flannel shirt at uniqlo, me and malin bought the same style, but she got it in red. Will post pictures, planning to try making outfit photos.
Long time ago, and my style has changed since then!

Halfway through!
(Oh hai btw my camera works!)

Ello ello

Been spending a lot of time in Harajuku lately, haven't been there for months and then POW, two days in a row!

First day was to find Ylva some fancy heels, and the other day was to buy some underwear!

One thing I love about Japanese underwear = They look awesome. It's really hard to find those boring beige ones. Bad thing is that the sizing is a bit small, but, most of the stores have bigger ones.. not ENORMOUS ones, but still. AND! They are still pretty! In sweden, all the bras in my size are like.. enormously ugly. Or really plain..

Anyway!

It was my birthday yesterday, 19 blazing years! Awesome presents!
My guy gave me an Orb-necklace >
In school, my classmate Emma surprised with... HOMEMADE CURRY! And.. even more epic.. HOME MADE CHOCOLATE TRYFFELS! Insane.

Latte!

Score!
Found Chai Latte and Strawberry Latte at a supermarket in Shin-Okubo today!
The Chai isn't at all like the one in Sweden though.. Kinda sad, but it was still drinkable.
The Strawberry latte though!
Omg, Mouth-Orgasm!

Wickedly cheap, wickedly awesome.
