Exciting times! After a long time of social withdrawal, I actually went out and met some friends today!
Met up a friend who stopped by Tokyo for a day on her way home to Korea after a very eventfult eurotrip, and in lack of better wording, it was truly delightful to be out and about!
I can't really remember the last time I actually carried a conversation in Japanese, even though I live here. Terrible, I know.


Long time, no purikura!

First time I took purikura without the "bihaku"(beautiful white) setting, I didn't see which level they put it on so I was kind of afraid it would be the level that adds a fake tan, haha.

Had one of those ridicilous days with Malin yesterday.
You know, when you haven't really slept, woken up at seven, gone to school, fallen over at curryplace and then decide it's time to find a Parka. (Found a great one, btw!)
You always end up with strange purikura and matching berets.

Full day! Ueno zoo!

Ahh, today was awesome! Allthough the sky was filled with rain that just wanted to pour, it still was a very nice day at the zoo! Very cold, though.
We didn't walk through the whole zoo, since last time we were there we missed one half, and that's the half we took this time! Giraaffes! :D
Afterwards we went to Harajuku, took some purikura and I found the shoes of my dreams! Going back for them tomorrow I hope. And even after that off to Ikebukuro and some cheap Izakaya goodness. Aaaand I finally bought new fakenails! :D

So, finally my big hair-plan worked, after a couple of months of trying!
I'm now a brunette! (My milkytea hair was actually multiple dye mistakes)

The SUPERLIGHTS in the puri booth makes it look lighter, it's darker IRL, but I'm anyway going to dye it again so it becomes darker(and less prone to become green 'cause my serious lack of red pigments).

Been going to Nakano alot lately! Or well, two times this last week, haha.
Anyway, I found a gold mine there, "Mode Off" (in Sunmall), it's a second hand shop with *gasp* reasonable prices! That's like, RARE in Japan! (or anywhere else!).
Bought a dress, hoodie and a prettipretti cardigan for just 1300yen. Alltogheter! Crazy, I know!
Also available in the store is a Vivienne Westwood bag for the whopping price of 6000yen.
If I didn't dislike that particular pattern I'd be on it in a heartbeat. Also found some different gyaru brands, like ANAP, Cecil Mcbee etc. And of course brands like Ralph Lauren, Miu Miu etc, all for very reasonable prices, and in top quality!

Midsommar!

So! Yesterday we celebrated swedish Midsummer!
Good day, all in all!
Allthough, I passed out, another of my friends passed out(in a bush! Damn japanese people.), Ylva lost one of her rings yet again, and it rained. But good times it was!

A sidenote: Do never invite Japanese people to "I have never"-games. They don't seem to know the boundaries for it. Thanks to the japs that participated, I have some pretty terrible images in my head that will never go away. Huh.

I did bring my camera, but, of course I managed to forget taking any pictures, damn. I had charged the thing and everything! Oh well, another time. Gonna try get better on taking pictures in general, kinda dull just seeing purikura here, no?

Went to Shibuya for the first time in ageees, and things have chaaangeed!
The Mcdonalds at Sentagaai is now by some reason transformed into a McCafe, with a no smoking sign.
What is that madness about?
The youngsters there showed what they thought about it by smoking and putting the fire out on the tables.. Hard times..

Bought some random things while there too, amongst others a T-Shirt from uniqlo by Agynes Dyne x Emily Dyne(?)

My 100th post on here~

Anyway!

First of all, today was great! After spending 4 hours in school with a serious headdache because Keigo is SOO hard, I went out with Malin and Ylva for some park hanging and cocktail drinking! (On a Thursday? Oh my!)
In baba there's a really nice izakaya right next to my school, cocktails are 413yen each, and after 23 you get 5hour Nomihodai for 15ooyen! And the staff is so so so great!
We ended up ordering 12ここどこ？ (+ some others), but really, the name is so great. It means "Where is this?".

And, of course, mandatory purikura!

Also, last week Malin, Martin and Ylva went to Disneyland with their school, and being awesome friends, they brought back some stuff for me!

Rain rain go away

So, first day in school after Golden Week. Supposed to be yesterday, but, alas, I was sick.
Made it up with going up early and heading for Harajuku with Ylva and Malin, for some pre-school shopping. (I ended up with 3 pairs of socks!)

It's a rainy day, and as a result everyone's mood seems to be in the gutter, atleast mine.

So, instead; Puri!

Me and Ylva obviously have a completly diffent way of seeing school.
I wrote "2 cool 4 school"(blatant lie in my case)
while she wrote the more optimistic "back 2 school".

Home from school, 'cause of a cold of flippin doom.
(Protip: don't do that. Go to school even if you're legs are cut off. Atleast in Japan. This day home from school is going to land me in trouble.)

So, spending the time trying to be as productive as can be, feeling guilty for being home.
That means, listening to Hey Willpower, painting my nails and trying to perform easy house chores(folding clothes, bringing the dishes to the sink etc). Nothing works really well.

It always feels so stupid having a cold when it's really warm, and right now the badness of my cold and the fantastic weather really match, it's 30degrees celsius right now!

Second week of school and things are going.. well, good.
During this break I tried my best to speak japanese, no matter what the other person wanted to speak, haha. So it was easier going back to school.

So lately I've been running around.. Doing stuff. Small stuff.. Like Purikura with Malin!



And buying things, awesome things, like robot earrings, MILK dresses and pretty hats.. Like this one:


Next on my To Buy list is a new pair of circle lenses, the ones I have are no-prescription, so I barely use them since I can't see if I'm not wearing glasses, and I usually just only wear glasses when my eyes are hurting = Circlenses NG.


I'm gonna make someone install photoshop for me (I suck at installing things), and try to make a new layout, cause man, this one is an eyesore.

Ah, so, yesterday was eventful. Or something! (but fun!)

Started out with two guys from Yamada Denki, coming to deliver our new TV that we in secret bought last Sunday.

Keeping it a secret, I later went out togheter with Malin and Ylva to eat some Kaiten(Rollerband sushi, the food goes round round round), and there we found the most delicious piece of sushi to be invented!! Shrimp, with something that really looked like bearnaisesauce, but didn't at all taste like it. But it was heavenly. I also managed to get the most poorly tapped beer ever, I kid you not, 5centimeters of foam? (I don't drink green tea, so when at those places I mainly order what they have, beer.)

After I left to prepare the TV for Malins surprise (Me and Martin decided to surprise here with a "hey wanna come over and see a film/play videogames? :D"), I heard that Ylva and Malin took more Puri, and dedicated one for me! As soon as proof exist, I'll post it everywhere! I am the greatest. walrus. etc.

When we all had came home, the TV was set up, be watched The Corpse Bride, played Super Monkey Ball, and I fell asleep while Malin and Martin played One Piece Battle Treasure(?), it's like Mario Party but with One Piece, anyway~~

I'm sick :'( So I'm gonna try and use the fact that I'm not naturally platinum blonde and try to turn on the gamecube to play chibirobo. (No, i've actually never had to do that yet. Spoiled and blonde. What a stereotype.)

Shinjuku I went to.

So, yesterday was our schools christmas parties!
I just went to mine to get attendance, and to lol at my favorite teacher Oki-Sensei, who was wearing a felt-hat complete with black afro. I love that man.

Quickly got to Shin-Okubo school instead, we're Martin is going, to attend theirs.
We were supposed to sing swedish christmassongs, but, no.
Christmasparty was made of epic fail btw.

So me, Martin and Ylva went to Shinjuku! Getting some last christmaspresents bought, and stuff!
