These boots were made for walkin'

(Haven't I made another entry with the exact same title? Go go imagination!)


Autumn is finally coming! All summer I've been waiting, patiently, biding my time. But now it's just around the corner! No more wasps, no more strong sun, no more hellish temperatures! I guess I'm quite transparent with my feelings about summer. The only nice thing is the midnight sun!

But, with autumn comes colder weather, and thus, boots!

I picked these two up today!

I've been eyeing the brown chelsea boots for some time, and they had a members only sale (just 50SEK, but anyway), so I thought it was time to strike!
I was originally planning to buy a pair of wellington boots, but unfortunatly my size had sold out in the style I wanted (pink with roses!), so I went for these black suede boots instead. Needed another pair of "easy everyday shoes", that I could bike in.. Uh, biking in heels..


All that's left now is for autumn to come! Some yellow leaves have already fallen! 

Recent outfits

Been quiet over here, but then again, I haven't really been doing anything but resting.
Up north right now though, because of a family reunion last saturday, and a wedding the day after tomorrow!
Family reunion was kinda meh, mainly because I don't know anyone of my relatives, except the closest ones(grandma, uncle, cousin).. I did get to meet my second cousin though, who I hadn't seen since we were 8.

Anyway! I haven't been doing much, but I do have some outfits to post!

My new buffalos! I found the on a swedish auction site and I can't believe nobody else bid on them! I got them for a whopping 100sek + shipping, which is AWESOME considering that plain black ones usually end up around 500sek! Woop woop! 

 

I was just going to the grocery store but thought "Hey, I haven't been outside for days, let's get dressed properly".

 Aaaand here I was actually going outout.

We went to some bar/thing that had a karaoke stage. I didn't sing myself, but it was fun watching other people do it, haha

Good old platforms

Gwuahh! I was looking through my old stuff today, trying to sort things to donate/sell/throw away/keep, and I found my old platforms!
I bought them when I was 12-13ish I think, and I remember being so happy about them! I wore them everyday for about 3 years haha. It's a wonder they're still intact, but they've been on regular visits to the cobbler, I did my best to take care of them.

After I found them we we're going to town, so I decided to take some matching clothes. Unfortunatly I still suck at this whole outfit-picture-thingamajig (it was so much easier when I had other people to take them for me!), but the dress I'm wearing is the pink/black heart dress I posted about the other day~

Oh be still my heart!

My cold has finally ceased it's hold of me, but before it was even over I managed to wake up to a crick in the neck. Usually it goes away by itself in a couple of hours, but I've had it for 4 days now! I'm starting to fear I'll live my life like Kermit from now on.. You know, having to turn my entire torso, because I HAVE NO NECK.
Do anyone of you have any home remedies?
I've tried hot showers, massage, heatpacks, more massage, painkillers, even threats(!), but nothing seems to work :(

Went to Strömsund the other day, and visited their red cross shop! It's really small but there's always something nice there haha.

Seemingly I'm back into buying platforms! I used to buy pretty much every pair I saw in thrift stores back in the days, but it was a long time ago! When I saw these though I just couldn't leave them.

I also found a pretty nice case for glasses, so now I can finally stop worrying about my sunnies! 

New bag and pastel pumps

My birthday present to myself was a Yumetenbo order!
Finally I have my hands on a 3way bag, and two pairs of lovely pastel pumps!

Latest shoes!

I realized I hadn't showed off the shoes I've bought lately. (I could probably get away with having a reoccuring thing on this blog "This Weeks Shoes" or something, haha).
I was photographing stuff for my pupe , and realized that I had two pair of shoes that hadn't got any recognizion, apart from in some outfit pics.

 

These are from H&M, but I got them off swedish ebay!

They're soo comfortable, but so bad quality.

Ballerina shoes I bought in Korea. I usually don't use this kind of shoe,

but they were so pretty and I really needed comfortable shoes, haha.

Virus, travels and velvet pumps.

 So.. I've been quiet for a while. Biggest reason is the humongous virus my computer got that ate everything. Thankfully I managed to back everything up.. But still, stings a bit.
And the lesser one is that I'm going to South Korea tomorrow, but honestly that have nothing to do with me not blogging, since I haven't really started doing anything yet. I've written a list though! (If you got advice on what to do during a 4day trip to S Korea, please do tell).

Annyway, omg, shoes! Were looking at snaps the other day and this girl was wearing velvet platform pumps and my mind went "WANT!". And wouldn't you know, I found a pair just yesterday! 1890yen from Shimamura, I LOVE THEM.

Back from Fukuoka and shoeesss

So, I'm back from Fukuoka! Arrived last night, tireed, thankful that nothing had been tipped over in the apartment. *score*

Anyway
they had just opened a Shimamura and Avail (discount clothing stores that carry alot of stuff that goes with the trends of gyaru), so I went there, yah!
My haul was two pair of shoes!

Red Low-heeled pumps
990yen, Shimamura

I realized after buying a pair of Randa shoes (approx 8000yen I think),
that.. while pretty, the quality sucks. And then I rather buy a pair of "nobrand" shoes for a quarter of the prize that will last just as long.
I will probably buy more Randa shoes, but seeing how much I love shoes and how much I actually buy them(It's barely april and I know I've bought atleast 5 pairs already), it's better if I stick with the cheap option.
