Wedding bells

So, yesterday was the second reason why I visited mom, some friends to the family got married! I don't do well in these kind of social situations, but it was rather nice, and I borrowed my cousins DSLR to take some photos for the bride and groom, thus taking on the roll as "photographer" rather than guest, and got to be left quite alone(because people hate cameras haha).
But I don't mean to sound negative, I was really happy to be invited, and we got delicious food and it was really wonderful seeing them beam together.

What I wore for the occassion! Quite blurry but I was in kind of a hurry.

Fo reals! I don't care much for strange bridal updos(they tend to look rather tight), so thiis, thiis, so much thiis. I'm so jealous of her hair it's unbelievable! It's all her own hair, too!

The groom kept joking about how he had to insert the diamonds in the leeks when he planted them four years ago, and patiently wait for them to bloom. All without his wifes knowledge! Haha

300th entry and Happy New Year!

Happy new year everyone, I hope your new years eve was awesome!

The days leading up to new years eve was amazing, I visited the town I grew up in and got to meet my chums again! It's been over 2 years ago since I last met most of them!
But that's what's great, even though we haven't met, or even stayed in regular contact, we all just met up and it was like we were in high school again.


For new years me and Zara(who visisted me last winter), went down to visit another friend and celebrate new years together!
Of what I can remember it was a lot of fun, haha.

Anyway, this was what I looked like!
It was a house party(i.e: I didn't really feel like whippin' out the ball gown), so I might not look as fancy as most people did on NYE haha.

On monday school starts, and I haven't gotten hold of the books yet, ahh.



Annnd! As the title told, this is the 300th entry I made on this blog! Woh!

Kyokutou Girl Friend and Sayonara Party

So last saturday me and my roomie went to see the band Kyokutou Girl Friend at Holiday Shinjuku. Since they are disbanding rather soon they have a weekly live thing, and we went to volume 2. Other bands playing where, 　トーマス(thomas),　ヴィデオグラマァ(video glamour),　LIPCHLICH, ドクターマルモット(Doctor Marmot), F’Ar÷EAST†KANφJO(Kyokutou Girl Friend alterego band), コドモドラゴン(Kodomo Dragon). First band was the KGF alterego band, wich was rather entertaining since they came up in early Visual Kei type of costumes (orange wigs, too much black makeup etc) and did some covers of that kind of bands.
Since it was Kyokutou Girl Friends event, the rest of the time was waiting. 6 hours of waiting to be exact. I had great hopes for both Doctor Marmot and Video Glamour but none of them were as I expected, so I was kinda disappointed.
When finally Kyokutou came up on stage all I could think was "I'll be going home soon!!", but disregarding that it was fun seeing them again, seeing how it was a bit over 2 years since I last saw them.

Oh how we hassled the staff woman, seeing how Martin wanted to buy fifty-eleven copies of everything they sold, haha.

After the concert, when I thought I was going home, we instead ended up going to an acquaintances Sayonara party, she's going back to Korea. It was fun and cozy as it always is(they usually have homeparties in her guesthouse). Me and my roomie decided to walk home instead of taking the train, and somehow the less than an hour long walk ended after 7 hours, walking all around the northwest part of Tokyo.

I know everyone has probably seen this already but I think it's funny!

So that was a lengthy post about nothing in particular!
My everyday life right now is a rollercoaster of one moment having so much doubts about myself(I barely graduated junior high, and now I'm trying to get a job?), to being super confident(nothing matters but willpower! I can do it!).

In my twenties

This I remember.

So, last Saturday I turned 20!
Crazy how fast time goes, this is my second birthday in Japan.

I celebrated it in Takadanobaba at the best Izakaya in the world, hahaha, with some of the best people in the world!

I unfortunatly went a bit too "all-in" with the celebration leading to bruised legs and no memories, but I have pictures! I have no idea what I said, what I did or anything, but I have a feeling I said "Another beer!" quite a few times.

But hey, how else to spend your birthday?(than in the presence of your friends, I mean. Of course. heh.)

Atleast it seems like I had a great time!

Artsy fartsy n' drinking

Well ain't I just all sorts of artsy?
No, but a swedish tumblr-ish site has a function that enables you to funk the pictures up before publishing, and I'm currently overusing it, hahaha.

Annyway, yesterday we went out to celebrate our friend Hidekis birthday, the plan was to go home with the last train but due to interesting discussions the last trains were missed, haha. Well, I was able to walk home anyway, but not wanting to desert them I stayed until the trains started going again.

Oh my, this day!

This day has been so exhausting in so many ways.
Woke up at six, got nearly choked to death, combined with violent hugging when being dressed, wanting to chop off my feet, beeing surrounded by hordes of people wanting pictures.

But it's been a wonderful day.
What day it was?
成人の日! Or, Coming of Age day, and I participated!

Too tired to write something coherrent, and sort trough the pictures,
but here's the mandatory purikura!

Happy new year!

So, New Years Eve.
It was great!
We were planning on going to Shibuya like most other people, but instead we ended up spending the night at our two favorite places in Tokyo, an Izakaya in Baba, and Current in Shinjuku, and it was greaaat!
We didn't go to Current until after countdown, so I don't.. really have any pictures from there. Too much cheers, haha.
At the end we went to a Shrine in Kabukicho to toss some money, clap our hands and pray.

Was a good night though, I made peace with an old friend and learned the proper way to greet Manowar fans!

Payed greatly for that I did, my eyes got soo irritated by my circle lenses.
Tip from the coach: Don't have a cold and wear circlelenses. (The shape of the eye changes during a cold, and due to circle lenses size/hardness they irritate the eye even more than usual lenses.) I usually wear my circles for approx 17-19 hours/a day without problem (.. I have long days.), and last night I wore them for approx 8 hours and BOOM, my eyes are a pretty scarlet color.

Full day! Ueno zoo!

Ahh, today was awesome! Allthough the sky was filled with rain that just wanted to pour, it still was a very nice day at the zoo! Very cold, though.
We didn't walk through the whole zoo, since last time we were there we missed one half, and that's the half we took this time! Giraaffes! :D
Afterwards we went to Harajuku, took some purikura and I found the shoes of my dreams! Going back for them tomorrow I hope. And even after that off to Ikebukuro and some cheap Izakaya goodness. Aaaand I finally bought new fakenails! :D

Yesterday we celebrated my friend Ylva's birthday, she turned 20! Hooray!

Sorry, but I haven't been able to sleep for two nights now, so my mind is soggy.
My body is hurting so bad, but it feels a bit better, my friend Martin won a giant pastelcolored centipede at taito, that I'll snuggle in with now.
