Surprisingly enough, the brand that has grown the most on me while living in Japan is not a japanese brand, but an american! Forever21 doesn't have stores in Sweden, and the shipping costs are crazy, so I never really experienced F21 until moving here, and it quickly became a place were I did alot of my shopping. Unlike other overseas brands(like H&M), F21 is still reasonably priced and have a lot of simple, cheap and cute pieces to put together.
Fall is coming up, so I decided to make some collages of things I wouldn't mind wearing!
One other thing I'd add, is loads of dark green stuff. I've been completly obsessed with that color lately, but I have yet to find some nice things sporting it.
Doing this reminded me I need to go by F21 someday before leaving.. Just about 2 weeks left now!

Scarfy scarves scarf
I have a profound fondness for scarves. However, I barely own any at all, which sucks.
But I had been eyeing one at a local shop for a couple of months, and while waiting for a friend in their cool airconditioned shop I saw it was still there, hidden behind a bunch of other scarves! Destiny I believed, and so I bought it!
Since it's brown, and that k ind of pattern is something that's always in style one way or another, I can't think of it as anything less than an awesome purchase. (Oh and it's HUGE, so that's why there isn't a picture showing it off completly, I simply don't have room in my apartment to photograph it in all it's glory)

Oh, you wonderful longnecked creatures
Browsing around some internetshops today I found what can only be described as the most awesome earrings ever.
Lo and behold, the giraffe studs!

Gina Tricot 79SEK
By pure chance my mother was planning to do an order from there today, so she ordered these for me! Finally I can have some nice giraffe jewelry! I love giraffes, but giraffe themed jewelry has a tendency to be a bit over the top, so this is my first get in that department.
(Random and uninteresting fact: one of my first usernames online was Giraffeno.1)

Cravings from the motherland
It's raining, the kind of super wet rain that soaks you from just looking at it, and a typhoon is seemingly on it's way. Because of that I don't really have anything to do but think about...
Candy!
Some things all swedes, when moving abroad, misses the most is probably Marabou Chocolate, crisp bread and pick & mix candy. I miss all of them, alot. However, both chocolate and crisp bread is available at IKEA, and it's rather easy for family/friends to send.
What I really really miss is the candy. Even though I sometime get some sent to me, it's just not the same, you know? It's the whole feeling about it, mixing your own bag, to fit just the kind of candy cravings you have right then. And it's cheap, too. Last time I checked it's about 1000yen for a KILO of candy.
However, I have indeed encountered pick & mix candy here in Japan though. But, well, not the same really. You can choose from a whopping 5 different candies(!), all hard candies, and you can put them into a tiny teeny little bag, and then it costs 160yen.
Well, better than nothing I guess.

Liz Lisa Chambre á coucher x Ghana
Earlier this month I read in Pop Sister that Liz Lisa and Ghana were supposed to do a collab, and finally they have come!
For 980yen you get a mini tote bag(2 version) + a bar of Ghana chocolate.
Just bought one version, but I will get the other one too, haha. Can't help myself when it comes to these things.

Christmas in DA HOUSE
So, yesterday was (swedish) Christmas!
All in all a wonderful day, and me and Malin managed to make the christmas ham all by ourselves!
This year it was just me Malin and Martin, but later Malins boyfriend came along and got a taste of swedish christmas food, glögg and gingerbread cookies~
Unfortunatly my Roomie Martin is leaving for Sweden over the Holidays tomorrow, but on Tuesday my ol' friend Zara comes to stay with me! Stay tuned for tourist-y madness!
Look what I got!
My lovely friend Malin gave me the JSG sweater I've desired oh so desperatly for a couple of months!
Less visible is the amazing robot necklace Martin gave me, it can move its head, legs arms and torso!

Liz Lisa Autumn & Winter Mook 2010
Since I've been studying so well the last two days (all in all seven hours!), I decided to reward myself by buying Liz Lisa's Autumn & Winter Mook!
You got fluffy pink socks with Liz Lisa charms on them, too!
Ahh. Liz Lisa, you take my breath away.
Gonna go ahead and post some of the pictures from it up here,
but please, my camera is kinda old, and my hands are shaky.
I just wanted to take some pictures for you to see the general feel of the catalog.
Click on the pictures if you want them larger~

Stumps
I'm having terrible hair-anxiety right now. I don't know what to do.
I managed to get a reddish brownish blonde, but it's quickly washing out (color just doesn't stick to my damaged hair), and I don't know what to do next. Thinking of laborating a bit more and perhaps finally get that shade of dirty blonde I want.
My guy actually bought his first brand yesterday(haha), a quite nifty tie-dyed scarf from Sword Fish, it's working great with his indie-style. At the same time I fell in love with a pair of clumpsy sandals they had, hopefully I'll go back for them today!
Bought the fantastic pink oversized cardigan I found at SPANK! , and been living in it ever since.
It's wonderful! It's warm when it's cold, it's cool when it's warm, it does hardly get wet when it rains.. The list could go on.
Cardigan and tuna of awesomeness.
Ginghamdress: Milk
Bag: Milk
Hat: Cheapass.
Beaten up ballerinas: Vagabond
Tonight we're going to a gig, my friend Malin's boyfriends band is playing, so we'll be there and.. cheer. (read:stand silently in a corner and then go out for drinks.)
I'm going to step right out of my style comfortzone, and go for a rockabilly/drapette style! Complete with wing eyeliner, red lips and something rauncy from Malins wardrobe!
